Stockton Inn Wedding • Stockton, New Jersey • Karen & Mark

Stockton Inn Wedding

The Stockton Inn is a wonderful wedding venue situated in Stockton, New Jersey. It is located right before you cross the bridge over into Pennsylvania. Since 2009 I have shot multiple weddings here so I’ve really gotten to know the property and the staff. Their food is excellent and they go above and beyond to make sure their clients are completely taken care of. My sister, Alexandra actually had her wedding here as well. So I have a special place in my heart for a Stockton Inn wedding. During the summer is a great time to get married at The Stockton Inn. Their outdoor patio area is perfect for just the right amount of guests. They have a bar both indoor and outdoor and the outdoor area is covered so just in case of rain you will be perfectly comfortable. Karen and Mark’s wedding day was completely stress free and everyone had a lovely time. I started off documenting the “getting ready” part of the day. Luckily Karen and Marc decided to stay at the Stockton Inn’s hotel which made travel time non-existent since we were in one location the entire day. If you and your fiancé are thinking about having a Stockton Inn wedding feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the venue, my pricing or the services that I offer.

stockton inn wedding 01Mark is such a nice guy. He was completely laid back the day of his wedding and all his attention was on his lovely wife Karen. My wife said I needed a hobby – so I got myself a brand new RC plane, the Quanum Nova. I’ve been loving it so far, and my wife likes that I go outside more.

Grand Summit Hotel Wedding • Summit, New Jersey • Rachel & John

Grand Summit Hotel Wedding

Rachel & John were married at The Grand Summit Hotel in Summit, New Jersey on June 7th, 2013. The great thing about having a wedding at the Grand Summit Hotel is that the bride, groom and their entire wedding party can get ready on location. This helps tremendously with timing on the day of your wedding. If everyone involved in your wedding doesn’t have to travel from one location to the next, you can spend more time being together and less time driving. A big plus for everyone. Rachel & John’s family and friends were wonderful to work with. Everyone was extremely happy on their wedding day and they all pitched together to help make their day a big success. The Grand Summit Hotel was very accommodating and made sure the bride and groom had everything they needed throughout the day.

If you’re having a Grand Summit Hotel wedding please feel free to contact me. I would be honored to document your wedding and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about my coverage. For your convenience, my full pricing is available here on my blog and on my website. If you wish to contact me please email me at info@ryansandsphotography.com.

Grand Summit Hotel Wedding - Here you can see the groom standing in front of a large window having his flower pinned on his jacket on the morning of his wedding day.During the getting ready portion of the day I frequently turn off all the interior lights in a room and prefer to just use simple window lighting to create my photographs. Having one light source to deal with helps to simplify my lighting. It also helps because you are not mixing color temperatures in your photographs. Interior lighting photographs very yellow, while outdoor sun photographs blue. Mixing the two lights can result in a less than desirable image.
Grand Summit Hotel Wedding - A detail image of the groom with his flower pinned on his jacket. Here is another example of a beautiful detail shot of the grooms jacket and flower. Window light is all that was needed to create depth and mood.
Grand Summit Hotel Wedding - A groom's father pins his flower to his jacket under the light of an open window. You can create very powerful images with just one light source. The key to creating such an photograph is knowing how to use shadow and light to create depth and form. Flat lighting is very boring and should be avoided at all costs.
Grand Summit Hotel Wedding - The bride and groom share their first kiss as husband and wife.Rachel & John share their first kiss as husband and wife. If I’m allowed to shoot behind my couple I enjoy photographing their first kiss with their friends and family in the background. That way you also get to see everyone’s reactions to the bride and grooms first kiss.

Grand Summit Hotel Wedding - A beautiful wedding table setting. The Grand Summit Hotel did a wonderful job with the table decorations. When shooting the decor of a wedding day, I always shoot with my Canon 35 1.4 lens and use very shallow depth of field. This gives my photographs a very glittery look to them.

Danielle & Chris were married on June 2, 2013 at The Hunterdon County Arboretum in Lebanon, New Jersey. Luckily for them, the weather on their wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. Hunterdon County Arboretum Wedding - The bride's wedding flowers on the morning of her wedding. When photographing details such as the bride’s wedding flowers I always like to use shallow depth of field. This pulls your eye right to the subject of my image and gives the background a beautiful buttery look.
The bride and groom on their wedding day.Danielle & Chris had perfect weather on their wedding day. What can be better than warm sun and marrying the man of your dreams.
